The Island of Tenerife offers, not only music and cinema events. During the year you can assist to other kinds of performances, Festivals and exhibitions. Many events mixed to various disciplines and arts. The most eclectic Island of the Canaries once again proves to be full of surprise.
• In mid-March, in the resort of Los Cristianos, takes place the Canary Food Exhibition. For a week the best local products are presented in a free tasting stand and for whom wishes to bring back home an original gift can buy many products. A special moment that makes you discover the magical atmosphere and flavors of this wonderful Island.
• In March Puerto de la Cruz hosts the MUECA: the International Festival of Street Art. During the event you can attend theater performances, music and dance concerts, films and exhibitions of plastic arts.

• During springtime takes place The International Titeres Festival of the Canarias, simultaneously with other Islands of the archipelago. Between April and May an original puppet shows takes place that makes residents as well as visitors pass a pleasant day.
• In May its time of Platano Rock Festival. This event takes place in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and sees original exhibitions and performances of urban art, as well as new musical trends, demonstrating the will to mix together modernity and innovation.

• The City of Los Silos sees every year the International Festival of Tales. For the occasion, artists from different parts of the world read fairy tales as well as local and international stories.  Tenerife - Music Events
In Tenerife, as well a in the other Islands of the Canaries, music certainly occupies a primary place. Its importance reflects in the number of events dedicated to music: from classic to modern up to jazz and blues. All genre of music are considered. Fans: just take note!
• The year starts with the Festival of the Canarian Music. The event, which takes place between January and February, includes many concerts of classic music.

• In March takes place the Festival Musitematico of Tenerife in the pretty town of La Orotava. The event offers several concerts of Opera and traditional music. The best way to discover the Canaria culture.
• During the month of April takes place the Festival Tránsitos. The event is positioned in the magnificent Auditorium of Tenerife and the spectator will enjoy concerts of music from the world as well as avant-garde music.

• Between April and May is held the Tensamba: Festival of Brazilian Music. Tourists and local people are entertained by a samba rhythm and many other Brazilian styles. During this event Brazilian music for the occasion becomes the undisputed protagonist of all the shows.
