 Festival Eòlica 2009 - Tenerife
On July 18 will be held the 7th edition of Eólica'09 at the Technological Institute of Renewable Resources (ITER) in southern Tenerife. Precisely in Granadilla de Abona.
The Festival is sponsored by Viceconsejería de Cultura y Deportes of the Canary Islands Government and the Cabildo Insular de Tenerife.
The "Festival dei Mulini" wants to encourage the use of alternative energies and transmit a sound environmental message through art and music.
Exhibitions, workshops, screenings, concerts of electronic music and other activities will take turns on this day that celebrates the encounter between recreation and environmental awareness.
The novelty this year is the "Wind in the Bus" that will carry a show business day pro-environment for an entire month. In this fun fall activities, information and education aimed at a younger audience.
It will be the hyperbolic windmills of the Institute to provide the energy necessary for the performance of the Festival.

 Clashes of titans in Tenerife
Have no fear: it's only a movie!
"Clash of Titans" remake of the homonymous film of 1981, has a wonderful location as Tenerife and other parts of the Canaries. Where exactly? At Teide National Park and the sea areas: Icod, Buenavista del Norte, Guía de Isora and Timanfaya Lanzarote. These occasions represent 20% of the total.
The film is directed by Louis Leterrier, the creator of 'Incredible Hulk'. The intricate plot tells the stories of Greek mythology and the many adventures that humans, pawns of the gods, had to face.
Filming started May 15 and continue until June 3. Hurry!
