The Natural Park of Jandía is large approximately 14,300 hectares and occupies a large part of the peninsula that brings its name. This is one of the most interesting place to visit in Fuerteventura especially for its amazing beauty and its immense sand dunes (Isthmus of Pared) that alternate with valleys (Valle del Pecenescal) and mountainous areas (Pico de la Zarza). A natural and breathtaking sight!

Here nature is uncontaminated and charming. The contrasts that characterize Jandía make it one of the most interesting Island of the Canary archipelago. In these lands live numerous endemic species, animals and plants, a pleasure for who loves nature and its beauty.

In particular you see many birds, lizards, tarantulas (Tarantola delalandii) and numerous species of invertebrates, many of which are insects. The vegetation is lush and very particular, and is what can be found traveling across the Island.

The City of Pajara, part of the natural park of Jandía, is an authentic museum of the history of the aboriginal peoples and of how these lands have been masterfully preserved. This is a great opportunity to discover the culture and history of Fuerteventura without giving up the taste of adventure and the love for nature.
