Between the Island of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura lies this beautiful and small Island that stretches for about 6 km. The best place for tourists that prefer relax along with outstanding nature. The small Island can be easily reached by a ferryboat from the port of Corralejo (Fuerteventura). Los Lobos is a typical volcanic Island with arid and rocky landscapes.
In this wild and difficult nature live dozens of different and important species of plants. This is why the Island is considered a protected nature reserve (Natural Park since 1982), a true paradise for lovers of nature. Flora, fauna and sea are an emotional view for all the visitors.
Great attraction of the place, besides the beauty that characterizes it, is the possibility to see dolphins and seals around the coast. The name Los Lobos derives from a particular species of seals which previously populated its immaculate waters.
Fearless sport lovers will enjoy the possibility to across, in windsurf, the canal that separates the Island from Fuerteventura and Lanzarote (it takes about ten minutes). There is also the possibility to get daily ferries that are faster and cheaper.
